I never planned to own a nail salon—but every chapter of my life led me here. From refugee roots to corporate boardrooms to Le Petit Salon… this is my story.
It’s such a pleasure to meet you — I’m Kim Caballero. My story begins far from where I stand today fleeing Vietnam on a small boat, carrying nothing but hope and the American dream in our hearts. That journey shaped me—teaching me resilience, gratitude, and the extraordinary power of possibility. Those lessons along with my faith in God guide everything I do, shaping the way I lead, create, and care.
A former corporate girl turned creative entrepreneur, I founded Le Petit Salon after years of searching for a nail salon experience that felt both luxurious and boutique—while focusing on excellence in work. And when I couldn’t find it, I created it. Le Petit Salon is my personal nail salon dream come true. But this is about more than nails. It’s about setting a new standard: a space where beauty and dignity are inseparable, where every guest and every technician is truly seen, valued, and celebrated. This is my love letter to the nail industry, to the technicians who dedicate their hearts to this profession, and to our beloved guests who make every effort worth it all. I am not an expert—just a first-time salon owner sharing the real pivots, struggles, and wins along this journey.
